The Boston Bruins 
ended last season making it all the way to the semi finals of the Eastern Conference playoffs but lost in 7 games to the Carolina Hurricanes 
. They seemed to be in good shape going into this season, until they made a very bad trade on their part. They traded their future franchise player, Phil Kessel 
to the Toronto Maple Leafs 
. In exchange the Bruins got a first and second round pick in the 2010 draft, plus a first round pick in the 2011 draft. Kessel signed a 5 year, 27 million dollar deal with the Maple Leafs. I think it was a mistake by the Bruins because Kessel was only 21 years old and their best player, and he isn't even in his prime playing years yet. Maybe they made a good trade and maybe they will get a couple good players with he draft picks that they acquired. We will have to wait and see till the 2010 and 2011 seasons come. I hope it was the right trade. Tell me what you think of this trade or what you think of the Bruins.
