Playin' Strong

The Bruins have been rolling recently, winning 4 of their last 5 games. They beat the Atlanta Thrashers 6-4, the Florida Panthers 2-1, then lost to the Tampa Bay Lightning 2-1, and then started winning again by beating the Atlanta Thrashers again 4-0, and then beat the Philadelphia Flyers 2-1 in OT in the great winter classic game at Fenway Park. This stretch pushed their record to 21-12-7 overall. It also helped to move them up in their standings. But about the Winter Classic; it was an amazing game to watch. An outdoor hockey rink in the middle of Fenway Park. It was a really cool thing to watch because you don’t see it everyday. It was cool because it was snowing and they were playing a pro hockey game outside and it didn’t seem real but it was and after the game they announced the players who made it on to team USA and what do you know, the last player they announce is Tim Thomas, the Bruins starting goalie. It is a great honor for him to play on Team USA and represent the Bruins.

  1. It was a good game, but I heard it kind of stunk for the people actually at the game because the seats were kind of far away.

  2. Yeah it was but it still would have been a fun game to be at. The only problem would have been the cold but oh well.
